Spacious self-catering apartments/studios for rent all year around
Olive Tree Apartments are air-conditioned/heated and have a swimming pool.
Location
They are set amongst the olive groves of the traditional Greek village of
Kaliviani Kissamos which is situated in a quiet rural area of North West Crete 6km from the busier seaside and agricultural town of Kastelli. They are a 15
minute stroll to the sea and 10km from the fabulous beach of Falassarna. The village of Kaliviani has one restaurant and two cafenions and is ideally situated
to explore the beautiful countryside, fantastic beaches and historical sites of Western Crete either by car or as a walker. It is 3km to the seaport of Kastelli
which has regular ferry connections to mainland Greece and also seasonal daily boat excursions.
The nearby working town of Kastelli has many facilities without being too
touristy. It boasts a small harbour, restaurants, bars and cafes, shops, banks, post office, car and bike hire, beaches, a promenade by the sea and a bus
station with services to local villages and the beautiful Venetian harbour town of Chania 37 km away.
Accommodation
Olive Tree Apartments were completed and opened in 2002 and are owned
by a local man Stelios Milonakis and his English wife Angela. They live in the nearby town of Kastelli and so are able to offer assistance when needed without being intrusive.
The open plan apartments are equipped and furnished to a high standard
with traditional Cretan and individual touches. All have either sea or mountain views and seperate balcony or terrace with patio furniture. There is a reception area and small bar (opening times vary).
They are cleaned two times a week with a twice weekly linen/towel change. There is a washing machine that can be used for a small charge.
